Terms And Conditions

Payment Schedule: Residence charges are payable for a 6-month period in advance. The monthly charge is set at 300 EUR, totaling 1800 EUR for the entire duration. Additionally, a security deposit of 300 EUR is required upfront to secure the accommodation + estimated average monthly utility consumption cost.

Duration of Stay: The residence will be allocated to students for 6 months, corresponding to Semester 1 of the academic year. Students are required to vacate the residence at the end of this period.

Extension for Semester 2 and Internship: Should students wish to continue their stay for Semester 2 and during their internship, and the apartment is available, a further payment for the subsequent 6 months will be necessary.

Room Allocation and Facilities: Rooms are assigned on a twin-sharing basis, with shared bathroom facilities. All residents are expected to utilise the common kitchen facilities collaboratively. Accommodation for students is assigned and based on availability and through our reservation system. We ensure that assignments are made without regard to religion, ethnicity, or any other group affiliation. If students wish to share accommodation with a particular person, they can arrange this in advance through the Aura Facebook page for that academic year. It's important to note that AURA is an international school, providing opportunities for students to interact and learn from diverse nationalities. Please be advised that male and female students are housed separately, and room exchanges are strictly prohibited. Couples seeking to reside together are encouraged to secure accommodation independent of AURA's offerings.

Special needs: Students with physical disabilities or other special needs are entitled to accommodation tailored to their requirements. If you have a disability, please contact AURA promptly to discuss your needs and accommodation options.

Amenities: The accommodation is furnished with basic amenities, including:
• Furniture such as wardrobes, beds (including mattress, duvet, and pillow), sofa
• Kitchen essentials such as plates, glasses, pots, pans, microwave, kettle, oven
• Dining table and dining chairs
• Bathroom facilities including a shower, washbasin, and toilet
• Corridor features storage cupboards and a shoe rack
• All rooms are secured with a lock

Please note that bed linen and sheets, additional kitchen utensils, soap, detergents, and other personal items are not provided as part of the accommodation setup. Students are responsible for bringing their own bed linens, sheets, and any additional personal items they may require during their stay.

Additional Charges: The residence fee does not cover utilities such as electricity, water, gas (if applicable), home insurance, and Wi-Fi internet. These charges will be billed separately. Students will be informed of the estimated average monthly utility consumption cost. This amount will be charged to students in advance. Any outstanding utility bills exceeding this estimated amount will be the responsibility of the student and must be settled either during their studies or upon completion of their studies. This approach ensures transparency regarding utility costs and helps students plan their expenses accordingly.

Cleaning of Residence: It is the responsibility of all residents to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic upkeep of their assigned residence. Friends, Family members or any outsiders are not permitted to stay in the residence. We encourage residents to collaborate to ensure a tidy and pleasant living environment throughout their stay.

Security Deposit and Damages: Upon moving into the apartment, a thorough inventory of all items provided within the accommodation will be conducted with the students. During this process, students are required to report any existing damage or issues with the items listed in the inventory, regardless of how minor they may be. When it comes time to move out, another inspection of the inventory will be performed. Any items found to be damaged or lost (and not replaced) will require payment from the student responsible for the apartment. This procedure ensures transparency and accountability for the condition of the apartment's furnishings throughout the student's stay.

Upon vacating the property in good condition, the security deposit will be refunded. Any damages or repairs required will be deducted from the deposit. If any balance remains after deducting repair costs, it will be distributed among the residents who occupied the premises during the relevant period. If none of the residents of a particular apartment claim responsibility for damages, the cost of repairs will be divided equally among all members of that apartment.

We hope these terms provide clarity and ensure a smooth and enjoyable residency experience for all students.
